Fairport American Red Cross Blood and Platelet Donation Center Nears Completion

Empire Completing New Location in Perinton Hills Shopping Center

Fairport, New York – Empire Commercial Construction, a regional general contractor that specializes in turn-key retail, medical, and small-project construction, is nearing completion of their contract for the newly expanded American Red Cross Blood and Platelet Donation Center. Empire partnered with LIVE Design Group for the associated buildout of the 4,000-square-foot space within Perinton Hills Shopping Center, located at 6687 Pittsford-Palmyra Road in Fairport, New York. Completion is expected by September of 2024.

The newly renovated and expanded Blood Donation Center in the Perinton Hills Shopping Center is where members of the community will come together to drive the lifesaving work of the American Red Cross of Greater Rochester and better meet the growing need for blood products. The new Blood Donation Center features some of the following updated spaces: donation collection area, welcome reception area, canteen, five (5) health history exam rooms, staff kitchen/lounge, and a donor recognition wall.
